Janet has been in public accounting since 1979 after moving to California from South Dakota. She began her career with a small CPA firm in Solvang working there for 9 years. She joined C&D in 1987 as a staff accountant. During her tenure at the firm she received her CPA designation and served in many capacities – from staff accountant through to the position of Manager. In 1998, Janet left her full time position to move to Indonesia. However, always one that enjoyed tax season and her clients, she continued to return each year during tax season but came "home" for good in 2002. She became a partner in 2005.

Janet is an avid reader, a passionate gardener, loves to travel the world and has a son she is immensely proud of. She makes her home in Los Alamos, participating in many community service efforts.

With a strong background in equine and agriculture industries, she has also been increasingly focused on wine industry related businesses - including assisting with taxation accounting and business management issues. Janet says "I try to make relationships a priority in my life because I know that quality relationships are what life is all about for me." After working with her, you'll call her a jewel.
